Fresh from his recent international travels to Dubai and Mexico, DJ PH returns to South Africa with a streetmix featuring 15 artists for the remix of his popular single Serious.

Having been invited by the Mexican Government to join the country as it celebrates 200 years of independence, DJ PH accompanied by South Africa’s Director General of Sports Arts & Culture, took to Mexico City and Zacatecas for a cultural music exchange where he got to tour the country as an Award-winning DJ and Metro FM’s Cruise Control radio host.

The proud World Record Holder and now TV Executive Producer, DJ PH – continues on in his music streak with this big body remix to Seriouswhich features 15 artists who are currently dominating the music industry.

Making an appearance in the aptly dubbed penmanship Olympics of SA Rap, the Serious (Streetmix) brings together rappers and artists who show-off their lyrical genius in this undeniably gigantic remix with featured guests Cassper Nyovest, Reason, Blaklez, Touchline, Kid X, 2Lee Stark, DreamTeam’s Trey & Saso; Blxckie, Lady Du, Roll, Zakwe, Loki, Stino Le Thwenny and Makwa.

Making a rap statement with this dedication to SA Hip Hop, DJ PH had this to say on the release of this remix “This is what we need. More collaborations, more remixes with everyone in support of each other. The South African hip hop genre is alive and kicking! And I’m proud to present this to the whole music industry”.

The remix keeps its kwaito influence but packs in heavy bars from one artist to the next. PH drops Serious (Streetmix) alongside a distinctive music video which matches the energy on the single.

Proving why he is arguably one of the hardest working DJ’s on the continent, PH drops this remix and music video off the success of his hit singles Serious featuring Cassper Nyovest, Lady Du and Makwa; and No Pressure featuring Blxckie and DreamTeam – which he dropped earlier in the year.

Serious (Streetmix) drops today across all music stores and the music video is live on YouTube.
