Rising house musician singer Ozana Music is aiming for the stars with her second nomination at the Mzansi Kwaito House Music Awards. After winning the best new house artist at the awards last year, Ozana whose real name is Prisca Mabunda is relishing a win after being pitted with Lady Zamar, Naak Musiq and other A-list musicians for the award.

Born to a gospel instrumentalist and a mom who used to model and act, OZana was destined for the entertainment industry. At the age of 8 she started playing the piano with family friend and musician Thapelo Peter Sebiloane and she has now grown into a rising house Producer. 

Born and raised in Vosloorus Johannesburg, this Ekhuruleni native has released a number of songs that have been played on various stations in South Africa. Her latest offering is an EP titled Ozana and friends Volume 1: As We Rise. The project is aimed at helping other artists rise into the limelight and learn more about the music industry.

Her latest Single Rise has been playlisted on various stations and is gaining momentum even though the country has been on lockdown since March. She has proven that good music can withstand any pandemic even if you are just a rising star. Listen to it below and let us know what you think:
